Terrific staff, very friendly. Mineral spring baths were very relaxing as well as the massage. I think my daughter's favorite was the pool.

My husband and I just enjoyed the weekend getaway package at the Original Springs Hotel and we added deep tissue massage services. It was a mini vacation that was close to home but far enough to get away. The staff at the hotel, restaurant, and spa were all friendly, helpful, and attentive. The food at the Boiler Room restaurant was delicious. Our stay included vouchers to the restaurant and the meals were reasonably priced. We had dinner twice and the Sunday breakfast buffet. The spa services were excellent. We enjoyed the hot mineral baths before our deep tissue massages, and my husband used the dry sauna after but I was too hot to partake in that. We scheduled another hot mineral bath for the next day prior to our checkout. We enjoyed a quiet and relaxing weekend together. The building is definitely "original" so while everything was clean and functioning, it did look dated and there were some ceilings that could use repair. I'm sure that with them being a member of the National Register of Historic Places, there are processes to go through before they are able to make changes and maybe some things that can't be altered. We just took it as part of the charm of a building that's over a century old. I definitely recommend coming for a visit to the spa and/or restaurant, even if you don't choose to stay overnight.

My boyfriend brought me here for my birthday this past weekend. I have seen a LOT of negative reviews. Mostly from "influencers" expecting some kind of Instagram"worthy" post to make money. Let's step out of the lobby for a moment. I grew up in the Arkansas Ozarks. A place known for their mineral springs and hot springs. A place dotted with hotels that date back to the mid 1860s. These were places where doctors actually SENT their patients for TB, Rheumatism (which we now know as autoimmune) and arthritis. We know that the water itself isn't some magic. But we do now know that a calm, friendly environment and warm mineral enriched water can help relieve anxiety, relax muscles, and give one a sort of "reset" button. That is what I got this weekend. Yes, this poor Painted Lady is crumbling. She needs a refresh. But the building and grounds are SO interesting. And the staff obviously love her so much. From the front desk, to the bath attendant, to the spa staff, and bar staff. This is a beautiful, tired lady that just wants to remain. If you are a snob, then look elsewhere. If you appreciate 170 years of history wrapped up in a tired old building, why not reach out to the historical society to preserve her? I even got to see the main well they still pump that pure spring water to their baths from. As for our stay, our room was very dated but extremely clean. Sheets were so soft. Coffee was delicious. And the staff was so amazing.

Don’t come here if you want to stay at a super 8 or a Hyatt or any other names you might recognize & know exactly what you’re getting. A corporate, white-washed experience where you’ll never remember which town you were in the moment you’ve left. Come here because you want the overgrown rose bush on the corner to grab you as you go around back to sit in the gazebo. Come here because you want to smell the smell of old earth water permeating the hotel, making your body feel better as you swim in the pool. Come here because you want to sit on the wicker furniture and look across the road & dream of an adventure where you cross & sit in the chair in the corner park, just to get a different perspective. Come because the dollar general & Wendy’s that are 3 minutes away feel like 4 decades away. Come because you miss old country places & you want a taste. They aren’t dealing with bed bugs or roaches. Buy a t-shirt so that they can replace the roof and still be around for your next visit. The storms have been hard on the building. The food is pretty good down in the restaurant. Try it!

Staff was wonderful , I especially loved hearing about the history and the tour. Dinner was very well prepared and presented. Rooms and facility needs some TLC, the love is there but some updates while preserving the integrity is much needed.

My sisters, mom, and I had a blast! The massage was fantastic. Dinner was delicious and the staff really made us feel like we like we were the only people in the place! We will definitely be coming back. The rooms are outdated but we weren't expecting an extravagant hotel. It is very rustic could probably use some updates but we loved it!
